2024 DG PHONE CARDS SWEEPSTAKES RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:  PURCHASING A PHONE CARD DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

Instructions:  While in retail location where card was purchased, separate cover from calling card portion by peeling off the top ply indicated by “PEEL HERE”, “PULL HERE”, or “LIFT HERE.”  Results of the sweepstakes promotion for the game piece will be shown along with the pin# and access # of phone card.  Sweepstakes prize is valid only if printed with the phone card’s dark pink colored “SWEEPSTAKES RESULT” prize bar located on the right hand panel inside card.  Prize symbols on cards are for security and validation purposes only.  In the event the prize bar does not specify  a winning prize amount or the words “NOT A WINNER” or “TRY AGAIN” then such card shall be deemed ‘irregular’ and replaced with a new unopened phone card of the same value by vendor or DG Phone Cards.

Prize Awards/Opportunities of Winning:  A Sweepstakes Number is printed along the bottom of the back of a given card.  The Sweepstakes Number represents its own sweepstakes game regardless of the product name or graphic design on the cover of any card.  Additionally, the deal, roll, and card numbers are imprinted on each card for prize verification purposes.  These numbers can be found either along the right side of the front of a given card, or along the left side of the back of a given card.  Overall opportunities of obtaining a winning game piece vary by product and are stated at point of purchase or may be received by written request to DG Phone Cards at the address listed below.   Instant winner cash prizes up to and including $200 and up to and including $600 for $10 Jackpot, $5 Lotta Loot and $5 Mega Bucks must be immediately claimed and redeemed ONLY at time and place of original purchase.  Top prize(s) are available only until won.  To claim awards from game pieces received by mail or secondary grand prize winners of $250 or more,  please hand print your name, address and telephone numbers(s) on a 3”x 5” index card and send via CERTIFIED MAIL RETURN RECEIPT along with the original winning game piece and photocopies of your state issued DL/ID and Social Security cards to:  DG Phone Cards, 44 Holly Street, Daleville, AL, 36322.  Claims must be postmarked by December 31, 2024.  All claims are subject to verification.  All materials become sole property of DG Phone Cards and will not be returned.  DG Phone Cards will determine payment method, which may include a company check, within 14 days of receipt of winning game piece and above required prize redemption information.  In order to be redeemed for cash prizes, the card’s prize section must be submitted with the section beginning with the words “SWEEPSTAKES RESULT” and include the card identification numbers located on either the inside right hand edge OR back of the card preceded by the letters “D” , “R” and “C”.   The prepaid phone card and PIN number portion of the card may be separately retained by either cutting and removing that part of the card or copying the PIN and call in numbers before mailing in the prize section for redemption.  Grand prize winners for $10 Jackpot, $5 Lotta Loot and $5 Mega Bucks up to $600 will be paid in store.

Eligibility:  Participants and winners must be legal residents of Alabama or Mississippi and at least 18 years or older and cannot be persons or promotions agencies and/or any affiliated organization, printers, individuals engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials or implementation of the contest or sweepstakes past or present and the immediate family or any person in any of the above classes or wherever prohibited or restricted by law.  Participants and winners must have a valid state issued ID and US Social Security number as of the date and time of entering any DG Phone Cards contest or sweepstakes.

Required Documentation:  Prize winners of $600 or more must execute and return an IRS form W-9 and DG Phone Cards Affidavit of Eligibility and Release and must provide a photocopy of a legal document showing Alabama or Mississippi residence and a photocopy of the winner’s Social Security card or the prize will be forfeited.

No Purchase Necessary to Enter Sweepstakes:  To obtain a free Sweepstakes Game Piece, mail a handwritten 3x5 index card with the words “DG Phone Cards Promotional Sweepstakes” and a self-addressed, stamped return envelope to DG Phone Cards, 44 Holly Street, Daleville, AL, 36322.  Each sweepstakes game piece request must be mailed separately.  Limit one free entry per household per day.  The sweepstakes promotion will begin on January 1, 2024 and end on or about December 31, 2024 or while supplies last.  Requests must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2024.  Allow six weeks for processing and delivery.  Odds of winning are 1 in 4.42.

General Conditions: For terrestrial landline telephone use only within the continental United States.  Not valid from wireless cell phones or payphones.  DG Phone Cards, participating retailers and distributors are not responsible for lost, stolen, late, illegible, mutilated, postage due or misdirected mailed requests.   Game pieces are void if defective, altered, forged, illegible, mutilated, stolen or obtained outside authorized channels.  Only original game pieces will be redeemed for prizes.  Mechanical reproductions or facsimiles will not be accepted.  DG Phone Cards reserves the right to modify a given sweepstakes promotion at its discretion.  To request a copy of these official rules and/or a list of winners after the promotion ends, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:  DG Phone Cards, Attn: Contest Rules/Winner Names, 44 Holly Street, Daleville, AL, 36322.  Void where prohibited.

Release and Indemnification:  Participants agree to release and hold harmless DG Phone Cards and its respective officers, members, employees, attorneys, affiliated organizations, printers, suppliers, and agents for any and all damages, including injury, death, loss or any other liability that may result from their acceptance or use of any prize or from their participation in the promotional sweepstakes game or their use or misuse of the DG Phone Cards Pre-Paid Phone Card.  DG Phone Cards reserves the option to photograph sweepstakes winners for promotional purposes and identify them by first name and city/state information without additional permission or compensation upon delivery of any top sweepstakes prize payments.   By participating, participants agree not to contest outcome of game and fully comply with official sweepstakes rules.  Prize winners are solely responsible for all State, Federal and local taxes.  Liability for an irregular game piece shall be limited to replacement of the game piece, provided supplies last.  If through printing or production errors or for any other reason whatsoever, more winning game pieces are printed for any category of prizes than intended and/or set forth, such game pieces shall be null and void.  The decision of DG Phone Cards shall be final.  Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
